You will learn to recognise some of the diurnal butterflies and flowering plants of the area as well as interesting facts about them and why they cannot live without each other.

The end of the route will give you an additional very beautiful present: The view to Yavornishi waterfall.

Requirements

Good physical condition, good footwear is required, drinking water reserve for the beginning (there is a possibility to have drinking water during the trail), sunglasses, hats and sun lotion in summer.

Best seasons

The best seasons for the tour are spring, summer and autumn.

Start time

The best times for the tour are before noon and in the afternoon.
In the summertime, we should start at 9:00 or 10:00 hrs or at 17:00 or 18:00 hrs.

Starting/End point

The starting point is the center of the village Yavornitsa, where this tour will end as well.

Number of participants

Minimum 4, maximum 20 persons.

Cost

10 EUR per person

Useful hints

The starting point can be reached by car or bus from Petrich (17 km to Yavornitsa). If you use the bus, you need 10 minutes extra from the bus stop to the starting point. There is a place along the road to park the cars.

In case of bigger groups (8 persons and more) the nature guide can provide transport from the town and back at a small additional cost, but it is necessary to arrange and book this two weeks in advance at the latest.
