Hello! My Name is Sofia Kostadinova-Ilkova!
I am the chief expert on “Biodiversity, international activities and projects” in the Belasitsa Nature Park Directorate.
Before starting in the park I worked for the NGO “Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation” as a Manager of the branch “Belasitsa”. I have been working in Belasitsa Nature Park since its establishment, starting as a biodiversity and public relations expert with commitments in biodiversity research and development of projects in connection with biodiversity protection and the management of protected zones.

I like to organize educational programs for local inhabitants and our park visitors, especially about our unique butterflies, chestnuts and medical plants.
