Hello! My name is Krasimir Lakovski!

Krasimir Lakovski, Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park tour guide

I was born in Varna and hold a master’s degree of architecture at the University of Architecture in Sofia.

For several years, I gathered experience in many voluntary initiatives on the territory of Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park.

As a volunteer, I regularly participate in monitoring of plants, animals and birds, planting of trees and cleaning activities, summer and winter monitoring of bats in caves and the design of devices and appliances (nesting boxes and bathouses, etc) for swifts and bats.

I like to give presentations and lectures about the nature of Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park, ferns, ethnobotany and bats.

My personal hobbies are landscape photography; graphic design; geology and geography; and speleology; hiking and other outdoor activities (cycling tours, rock climbing, fishing, etc.).
