Hello! My name is Dr. Nikolai Doykin!

I was born in Sofia and finished my master’s degree in 2010 at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. After that, I finished my PhD thesis in the Department of Zoology and Anthropology, Faculty of Biology, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.

Since 2013, I have been working as the fauna expert in Vitosha Nature Park directorate.

During the past years, I worked a lot on the ground in the field, exploring wildlife in the Vitosha mountains.

I like to share my knowledge about this special protected area with more people in Bulgaria and abroad.
