Description of the tour
You will be on the top of Sofia!
The starting point of this tour is Aleko hut, which is the biggest tourism center in Vitosha Nature Park. This is a very popular place for tourism all year round.
A few minutes after starting our trip, we will reach beautiful meadows with magnificent tulips – Vitosko tulip (Trollius europaeus sp.).

After that, we will pass the “Bistrisko braniste” reserve. This reserve protects one of the oldest peat areas in Europe. Here we can see a lot of semi-alpine plants.
During our hike, we will have the chance to observe different bird species. This open area is home for red and roe deer.

The highest point of the tour is “Cherni vrah” peak at 2,290 m.
At the top of the mountain we will have enough time to take pictures, eat, drink tea and have a rest.
