Hello, my name is Galina Mihaylova!

I was born in 1985, in Gabrovo, located in the very central part of Bulgaria and the Central Balkan.

During my secondary education I studied English and Russian. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree at the National Sports Academy in Sofia in the specialities of teacher and coaching profile and master’s degree in Technical University in Gabrovo in the specialty “Social activities”.

I like to do sports and watch different sports competitions.

Since 2012, I have been working in the Central Balkan National Park Directorate. Thanks to my work at the Directorate I had the opportunity to get to know the beauty of Bulgarian nature and to visit incredible places in the Central Balkan, to enjoy beautiful views and wild places.

Here I learned about the high importance of protected areas for the conservation of biodiversity, habitats and natural processes in ecosystems.

I love working with people and I think that with a smile, a good word and a cheerful mood, every peak can be climbed!
